Neighbourhood guard

Hi there Outsiders. I hope you're all having a great and fun time here in Outsiders!

Some of you might remember that I made a suggestion for a neighbourhood watch at the last CR meme? I'm glad to say that the idea is still burning strong, and that it's in the final stages of being implemented! So let's have some details about this neighbourhood watch:

1. Dun has gotten into contact with Kirrahe and Steve Rogers; the three of them will share leadership of the group.
2. Dun has a list of people he's interested in for the watch:
- Mordin Solus
- Commander Shepard
- Kengo Utahoshi
- York
- Marian Hawke
- Arcee
I will be making a network post soon for him to get into contact with all of the above.
3. The neighbourhood watch will be divided into three sections: Patrol, Tech and Medics. Those in Patrol would be the ones taking turns patrolling the area. Tech division will be in charge of network encryption, hacking and will be in charge of gathering and providing intel (eg. unsafe locations, notifications on any dangerous events, information about the mercenary groups) for the guard. Medics are there to patch up those who are injured, and may be either Field Medics or stay-at-base Medics.
4. The base for the guard is Dun's martial arts centre. It's been outfitted with a lock that will only let him access the apartments.
5. There will be daily patrols that will cover as much of the Zetta district as possible, depending on the man power available.
6. The main idea behind this watch is to protect the civilian population of Zetta district, especially during surprise events like the Adjutant attack and the recent fire event. It's a non-paid organization. It's also faction-free; it's not under Aria or the mercenaries, and Dun will make sure to keep it as separate from them as possible. The neighbourhood watch will not intervene in a fight involving mercenaries either, and will seek to be as neutral and just as possible in Omega. The watch does not, and will not, encourage people to stop paying their "protection fee" to Aria though.
7. The watch is not attempting to be the policemen of the district. They are not going to solve murders and crimes. They are only there to guard and patrol the district for trouble. They will step in if something happens on their watch, but otherwise they are not going to actively comb the district for thieves and murderers...for the time being.

This is the initial draft that Ryo (Kirrahe-mun), Kayla (Steve Rogers-mun) and I have managed to come up with. It's not final, but we're all open to any suggestions that you guys may have to make this neighbourhood watch a success.

Also, we're open to sign-ups as well! If you'd like your character to have a slot in the neighbourhood watch under any of the three divisions, just comment under the appropriate thread with your character and I'll work out a way that Dun would be open to inviting your character into the watch.

Kengo would certainly be interested in the tech aspect. He's becoming something of an expert with using omni-tools since acquiring his job at Ariake Technologies. He wouldn't have any trouble learning how to hack, plus he's already getting a lot better at encrypting messages. Aside from that, Kengo started his habit of sending out alert messages during the adjutant event. He was unavailable to do the same thing during the fire event, but he did post to the network and asked people for information about what was going on.

Having Hayabusa as his avatar towards Omega and gathering up information from people at different points is something he's sort of been planning already. I'm not sure exactly where he can go with it, but we can discuss options and he'll eagerly follow after Dun at this point.

For the moment, he'll probably just stick to being the resident tech guy and information keeper for the group. Gathering intel from the enemy would take a bit more work and a shift of focus for him, but if he's asked to do it, he might try. Kengo would really like to hang back from being physically involved in anything as much as possible. I need to take the time and sit down to iron out the details and figure out exactly what he's doing, but I'll let you know when I get further details together.

interested in the medic part!

ino is working as one at the clinic, but her skills are actually for the field because it doesn't require any medical equipment or surgery
