outsidersooc | SPACE FIELD TRIP (Plotting Post!)

Hello Outsiders!

In a few days, Prowl's going to make a comm post calling for a team to help him investigate the shuttle debris in ~space~ (and take a peek at one of the relays, but that's kept hush hush). If you're interested in having your character(s) involved in space investigation hijinks, here's the basic lowdown:

Preparation

Comm post to call for a team

Pt. I Shuttle Debris

The shuttle will approach the debris field.
Before physically disturbing the debris, Prowl will be "reading" the remains with his computer brain. Think reconstruction simulation but more advanced.
Afterwards, the space-capable can go on a floaty walk to look for specific pieces that can help them identify the makers of the explosive device. Omni tool scanners will come in handy.

Pt. II Mass Relay

(This part of the plot still needs to be developed a little, so I'm open to suggestions!)

Any engineers or tech specialists will be tasked with gathering information on the Relay. It will essentially be a scouting/research mission. They will also get another chance to go on a space walk.
What they gather here will be used to plan a future trip.

What's still up in the air is if they'll choose to visit the active Omega-4 Relay or the dormant Omega Relay for research purposes. I'm curious to hear what you guys think!

UPDATE

Alright, I took into account replies/thoughts and chatted with the mods on which relay they'll be visiting, and this time around it'll be the Omega-4 Relay! The reason being that they've got a bit of a surprise in store on that end, and it'd be good to streamline the plot a bit so the pacing doesn't slow down too much. An NPC will be part of the space party to help nudge our motley group along towards le Ω4.
They can visit the dormant one after.

Return to Omega

Review gathered evidence to try and find out who blew up the shuttle.
Plan future trip into the active relay. The eventual aim will be to see if they can make safe passage.
